Moving, Very Moving
Moving, Very Moving
1993
A poem about the thicket of reactions whenever a New Yorker tells friends about plans to leave the city. Disguised as a “Man with Van” type advertisement (including tear-off tabs at the bottom), 500 of these 8 ½ x 11 flyers were posted at bus shelters, on utility poles and other public spaces. Some of the flyers lasted for days, often with a few of the tabs removed.
