Disney Concert Hall

2008, found papers, 42" x 30"

Created with reflective paper and cover stock, the collage mimics the changing face of the actual building depending on the time of daylight. A general rule of collage landscapes is to tear paper that will portray nature and cut paper that will portray buildings. The supple flowing form of this building, however, called for an alternative method to portray the sky to heighten contrast, in this case a series of squares.
