Far (mobiles) installed at the University of Barcelona

Following the September-October installation of Far, John Morse's two-part solo exhibition (a gallery show of seven mobiles and a terrace installation – the "Lighthouse" – of a wind-powered sculptural work) at Arts Santa Monica on the Ramblas in Barcelona, the gallery mobiles were installed at the University of Barcelona (Universitat de Barcelona), one of Spain's oldest and most revered institutions of higher learning. The mobiles are featured throughout the university's Biblioteca de Filosfia, Geografia e Historia, in the Raval neighborhood near Plaza Catalunya at Calle Montalegre, 8. 08001 Barcelona.

Far ("Lighthouse") to be installed on the northern Mediterranean coast

The sculptural segment of the Arts Santa Monica exhibit, a wind-powered "lighthouse" installed on the museum's terrace overlooking the Ramblas, is slated to be relocated in the coastal town of Cadaques in northern Catalunya next to the Mediterranean sea. Though Cadaques is small, it is a renowned art mecca best known as the home of Salvador and Gala Dalí and often visited by Picasso, Duchamp, Richard Hamilton, and Melina Mercouri.
